Important Race Day Info For All Athletes
ACKET PICK-UP INFO:
DATE: Friday, July 29, 2016
TIME: 1:00 PM - 6:30 PM
LOCATION: Bill's Bike and Run - 930 Pier View Dr, IDAHO FALLS, ID
Packet pick-up will be held at Bill's Bike and Run between 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM in the upstairs room. Each runner must present a valid photo ID or a copy of their confirmation email in order to pick-up their bib, swag bag, and race shirt.
EVENT TIMES:
Full Marathon – 5:30 am
Half Marathon – 6:30 am
5K – 7:30 am
Kids Fun Run – 8:30 am
Breakfast - 7:00 - 11:00 am
Awards Ceremony - 10:00 - 10:30AM
ARKING:
Parking is available behind Bill's Bike and Run. The buses will pick up the Full and Half Marathoners behind Bill's Bike and Run so you can park there to get on the bus. 5K start and finish is at the corner of Milligan Rd and Pier View Dr. Event Parking signs will be out and enforced.
MORNING REGISTRATION:
Registration is only available for the 5K & Kid's Fun Run the morning of the race. Registration will be available on site at 6:00 AM and closes promptly at 7:00 AM. No registrations will be accepted after this time.
TIMING BIBS:
We are excited to welcome back Vector Timing as our official timing vendor. Vector Timing uses disposable timing chips. The timing chip will be attached to the back of each runner’s bib, and does not need to be returned at the end of the race. It is important that you do not fold, wrinkle, or otherwise alter your race bib. It is also important that you wear your bib on the front of your shirt. Incorrect placement of your bib and timing chip may result in missing or inaccurate results. Your official time will start as you pass the start line and stop as you cross the finish line. Do not trade bibs with another athlete. Bibs are only valid for the distance they were purchased.
BUSES FOR FULL & HALF-MARATHONERS:
Full-Marathon – Buses will be leaving at 4:30 AM sharp from Snake River Landing behind Bill's Bike and Run and will not wait for latecomers.
Half-Marathon – Buses will be leaving at 5:30 AM sharp from Snake River Landing behind Bill's Bike and Run and will not wait for late comers.
STARTING AREA
Starting area for the full marathon and half marathon will be conjested and will pose a risk to have vehicles up at the start areas. Because of that the starting areas will be closed for 30 minutes before and after the race start times. There will be water, Gels and Electrolyte to drink, at the full and half-marathon starting areas.
