The Teton Dam Marathon & Races marks the anniversary of the breaking of the Teton Dam in 1976. The marathon starts at the site of the Teton Dam, runs through the beautiful countryside of Eastern Idaho, and ends at Smith Park in Rexburg. At Smith Park runners enjoy a runners' corral full of bread, fruit, drinks, and smoothies. An award ceremony in the park closes the event where overall winners are awarded prize money.
