The Skiller 5k was started by Skylar Johnson's fellow 2008 Senior Class cross country runners. Skylar passed away during his Senior year of a heart attack. This 6th Annual fun run/walk is to celebrate Skylar's life.

All proceeds from the race will go to the Skylar Johnson “Whatever It Takes” Scholarship fund. From this fund, a yearly scholarship is awarded to a senior at Hillcrest High School in Ammon. This past year, the foundation was able to award a $2000 scholarship. It is hoped that through these efforts Skylar's memory and inspiration will not be forgotten.
